Had a theragun before and the battery died. Even when it was working it would have a weird rhythm and seem to fall out of sync making it uncomfortable to use. Even though this is the small Ekrin it’s very powerful and battery life on it is ridiculous. I travel for work and this is perfect!

When my Ekrin B37S magically resolved my piriformis syndrome within a few treatments, I became curious about the Bantam. Anyone who has owned 12V and 18V cordless tools knows that the 12V does 90% of what the bigger tool does, and therefore tends to displace it. Well, that's how the Bantam is too. It's amazingly powerful for its form factor, and its lighter weight lets me treat my partner's muscle pain for more time. The open-box price makes it a no-brainer. Just do it!

Great device. Really surprised with the power it packs. I have purchased Ekrin products before, the kestrel massage gun due to their warranty. I have never needed to use the warranty and have yet to experience issues with either the Kestrel or the Bantam. Albeit I've only owned the Bantam for a few weeks. I don't use either heavily but when I'm in pain and unable to get to a massage therapist they are definitely the next best thing. The bantam was purchased so I could transport it to work or use in my car in a pinch and it is very compact and has a very nice case, even more so than the kestrel. The kestrel just has a soft case and separate bag whereas the bantam is all inclusive in a hard case. I've researched a bit between all the varying massage guns and the Bantam is a good contender overall versus others in terms of performance, value and price. Very happy and recommend it for sure.

Since I turn on the massage gun I've noticed a significant issue with noise. When the device is running, especially on higher speeds and applying pressure to muscles, it produces a high-pitched squeaking or whining sound – it sounds like a sharp "squeak squeak squeak" or even like a mouse squealing. This is very disturbing and not the quiet operation I expected from the product descriptions and reviews. For comparison, the normal motor sound on my previous Theragun Mini 2 was sound even more louder, a low hum that wasn't bothersome at all. This squeaking only happens under pressure and makes the device unpleasant to use. After 5 days used it, I've discovered additional serious issues with the battery: 1. On level 2 speed, the battery drops from full (green light) to yellow to red in only 20-25 minutes each– never reaching anywhere near the advertised 6 hours (not even 2 hours). 2. Charged from red light starting at 6pm yesterday to 1am – still yellow, not green/full. Used for 5 minutes on level 2, dropped to red. This morning charged from 7:15am (red) to 11:15am – still yellow. Used 5 minutes, dropped to red again. This seems like a defective battery or charging circuit. I had returned it and purchased Ekrin 365. Anyway, the size of Ekrin Bantam is perfect to use.
I have bought knock offs in the past and the battery life was poor and it would stall out with pressure. My wife gets leg cramps at night and with the bantam she is able to work them out and have less sleepless nights without me having to massage them out for her.
I love the Ekrin Bantam. It's quality materials and very quiet and very soothing on sore muscles. I highly recommend to my family and friends 😃

I've been using the Bantam for about 3 weeks now. I have issues in my back and hips with nerve pain, spine stiffness, and muscle tightness. I use the bantam with the small flat attachment in the morning and at night, primarily on my glutes, quads, hamstrings, and back extensors. This has made a noticeable difference in my pain recurrence, especially at night. I used to take several minutes moving my hips and back before getting up to avoid the worst pain. I can now get up almost immediately and use the bathroom and get down the stairs with a lot less discomfort. I would recommend this devie for anyone having the same symptoms.
The massage gun is sturdy, small and stable. I used another one from Amazon but I wasn't satisfied. I purchased several of these and gave them as gifts to family.
Bit louder compared to hyperice one but works great. Battery life is great. Best thing is the lifetime warranty and prompt customer support. So far so good! Enjoying it!
The Bantam is a fantastic portable massage gun. I have the larger Kestrel and was so impressed that I wanted one at my office. It gets used a few times every week day since I go to the gym most days. The Bantam has a lot of power for a little device and is very quite to use in an office setting with the door closed. Highly recommend the Bantam and look forward to using it more.

If you are thinking about getting a massage gun…just buy it! You won’t regret it. I am training for several marathons and I don’t even put this away in the case. I use it multiple times everyday. It works terrific! I’ve been battling shin splints and I use it directly after a run to soothe my legs. I leave it out and hit the sore spots throughout the day. I love that it is smaller and isn’t heavy. It’s also easy to take to races to use afterwards. It is a quality massager and they have an incredible warranty. I am very happy with this purchase!

I got the Bantam as part of the Kestrel/Bantam bundle. The two massagers are great complements for one another. I’m a small guy - 5’ 3”, 133 pounds and a serious runner - I often place in my age group. The Bantam’s light weight and small size make it very comfortable for me to use. Its 10 mm stroke and 35 pound stall force does a great job on most muscles. Although I find I need the Kestrel’s 13 mm stroke and extra power to get a deep massage on my thighs and butt. (One can’t and shouldn’t expect a massager the size of the Bantam to do it all.) Even though the handle is small enough to grip easily, I find that I have more control and can exert greater pressure with a grip that places the palm of my hand directly behind the attachment. See my photo. The Bantam’s portability is a nice added plus. The case is very nice and the charging is easy. If it’s within your budget I recommend the Kestrel/Bantam bundle.
After strength training, recovery with the Ekrin Bantam is essential. Small but mighty...10mm amplitude, 6 hour battery life, stall force better than many full size massage guns. The carrying case, quality construction and 4 attachments is a plus.
As someone who already owns the larger B27, the Bantam continues the trend of high quality percussion massagers, this one is just half the size and weight. Obviously the battery life is shorter than a full sized gun, but I would say you can get 1.5 hrs if you have it on the level two. Since it's a USB C you just plug it in after each use and no problem. It travels well with the flat attachment, I took the rubber part off since I use it over my clothes. Just toss it in your bag and go.
The Ekrin BANTAM is perfect for before and after a work out. I used it to get my blood flowing before I went for a walk and let me tell you it does its job! I felt loose and ready to conquer my 5 mile walk. It’s great after a work out too when my muscles are sore and need some relief. I would recommend this product to anyone who works out or just goes on a daily walk, because it works wonders. On another positive note the compact size and case it comes in is perfect for travel, so I can’t wait to bring it with me on my next trip to stay on top of my sore muscles and to provide relief!

I had never heard of Ekrin or the Bantam before this purchase. As a Physical Therapist in sports medicine, I thought I was familiar with all the brands of massage guns. In comparing the Hypervolt v1 against the Hypervolt v2, I stumbled upon the Bantam - and I'm so glad I did. The Bantam is more quiet, powerful, and compact than the Hypervolts. Not to mention, the Bantam comes with a lifetime warranty (amazing!!) and a carrying case with 4 attachments instead of just 2 like the others. I can't recommend this product enough.
I research extensively before buying anything, and the two most powerful compact massage guns on the market seemed to be the Ekrin Bantam percussion massager and the Theragun Mini 2. After logging at a lot of reviews I decided to go for the Ekrin Bantam, because: - It looked easier to reach my back when using it on myself - It had a significantly higher stall rate - It had a good range of speeds, and a slightly higher power range than the other massage gun I am extremely happy with my purchase. I've been using it most days for nearly 2 weeks now. I'd been seeing a physio weekly for my lower back for ~1 year (I'm early 40's but have some curvature in my lower spine which is causing issues now). I've just moved countries and this is really helping me manage my muscles so they don't seize up too much - I'm trying to avoid further physio treatment! The Ekrin Bantam is highly recommended.
I have both the Ekrin Bantam and the B37. The initial impetus for getting a massage device was because I had been going to PT for a shoulder issue, and the therapist was using one (not Ekrin) to loosen up that area. When I started looking for a percussive device, Ekrin stood out for value and the lifetime warranty. (I had previously tried a device from the co. that starts with "Thera", but it was a dud straight from the box - never could get it to turn on - so it was quickly returned.) I first got the B37 and really liked the powerful action, but realized it was too heavy for me to use one-handed on the trapezius area. The Bantam was a perfect complement to its bigger brother - I can wield it easily, yet it still offers a similar level of pressure. Actually I use it a little more frequently than the B37. It also has a slightly higher-pitched sound than the B37 (seems trivial, but when I am operating it close to my head, it makes an impression). However both are still relatively quiet devices, in my limited experience (I've also tested a "Hyper"-branded item). Lastly I appreciate the apparent quality - both tools are nicely finished, solid in hand, and they each come standard with a travel case and an array of accessory heads. Overall, am very pleased with my purchases and plan on using both for a long time. (NB. I've had them both for about a month and with intermittent use have yet to recharge either one.)
